Careers & Fellowships
The firm does not advertise jobs. It offers consequential work, done to a standard — and looks for the people who want exactly that.
Careers and fellowships at Ariana Nexus are for people who want to do work that matters, to a standard, on behalf of a population that depends on it. The firm engages practitioners through deployments, offers fellowships across its programs, and is always interested in exceptional people whose expertise serves the work. This is senior-led, demanding work — not a high volume of openings, but a high bar for the ones there are.
People the work can be trusted to.
The firm’s work carries real stakes — for patients, for claimants, for the institutions that depend on it being right. That sets the standard for who does it. The firm looks for people with genuine expertise in their field, the judgment to apply it under pressure, and the seriousness the work demands. It is not looking for many people at once; it is looking for the right ones. Credentials matter, but so does the disposition to treat the work as the population on the other end of it would want it treated.
Careers and fellowships are for joining the firm’s work — as a practitioner or a fellow. This is distinct from Network Membership, which is for distinguished subject-matter experts joining the firm’s Expert Network as an affiliation. The senior fellowship in residence is the Visiting Senior Fellowship.
A high bar, by design.
The work is consequential, so the bar to do it is high — and the population it serves is the reason it stays there.
Deployments, fellowships, and an open door.
Three ways in — and every one of them passes the same bar.
Open deployments
The firm engages practitioners — linguists, analysts, specialists, and operators — on specific work as it arises.
Posted as they open · expressions of interest welcome when none are postedFellowships
The firm’s fellowships span its programs — from a senior figure in residence through its Visiting Senior Fellowship to specialists contributing to a defined body of work. Each is a working role inside the firm, not an honorary affiliation.
An open door
Beyond any posted opening, the firm is always interested in people whose expertise and judgment would strengthen the work. Exceptional candidates are encouraged to make themselves known.
The process, and the way in.
The firm’s process is deliberate rather than fast. Candidates are reviewed against the role and the bar — expertise, judgment, and fit with the firm’s standards — through review and conversation before any engagement. The firm verifies credentials, because it stands behind the people who do its work.
Applications and expressions of interest are made through the firm’s intake. There is no general inbox to write into; the way in runs through the same door as every other serious conversation with the firm.

People who want a role can find one anywhere. The people the firm looks for want the work itself — consequential, exacting, and done to a standard a population depends on.
